So i've been on bed rest for two weeks and I got to come back to work yesterday. All I get to do is answer phones, but hey its money! and I love my job so i couldnt wait to get back!!
Anyway, they had me on bedrest because i was having labor contractions. They gave me medicine and sent me to the couch. Now that I'm 34weeks they are allowing me to work because they expect me to deliver early and said its safe enough now that they wont stop baby if she's ready to come out! That being said, I've been very cautious and very aware of the signs of labor and I'm making sure to rest and drink lots of water. But I'm coming down with something, i think its a sinus cold... or TERRIBLE allergies. The weather here can't decide on late fall or late summer so I have this... crap... in my sinuses. I got a humidifyer to help and have been drinking tea and eating soup all day, but to no avail.
My worry is that being sick could push me over the edge and make me go into labor. I know its not the actual sickness that can put you into labor but the stress its puts on the body.... I have an appointment thursday, but i'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this?? Not sure if I should be concerned or not.
