Daycare Holiday gift question

Hi ladies,

 Need some input on what to do for my in-home provider for the holiday's.  I've heard its typical to give one weeks salary as a gift and I was thinking of doing that, but she's Jehovah's Witness and she's told us they don't celebrate holiday's...I'm sorry I know nothing about this belief system, do they not celebrate Christmas either?  I know that they don't celebrate birthday's, and Thanksgiving? 

We love our provider and would like to do something for her, but I want to do something that is appropriate and won't offend her?

    My DH is a JW.  They do not celebrate any holidays or birthdays.  I would not buy a gift for her around the holidays, especially if she has made her beliefs known.  I would wait until later in the year and just get her a "thank you" gift.
