I end up spending $200. However, I have learned something. I always have too many pictures and all I really want is to buy enough to get the free CD. So, I'd narrow it down until you get the smallest package you can with the CD.
Good luck. They are really good at the sales pitch!
ETA: For the Christmas pics we did this year, I invited my entire extended family and we split the package. We got three CDs to share. My family, my sister's family, DH's family, all the grandparents got to take pics individually and as a whole group. It was so nice to have everyone in the pics and I spent $55.75!

I went to a place called Portrait Innovations, but I think Target & Penney's have similar offers. You can usually find coupons on-line under www.retailmenot.com

I used to always say I was only going to do the one pose deal, and then DD would be awesome and I'd have so many great pictures that I couldn't choose. I usually end up getting the smallest package that comes with a CD ($170) at Sears, but I almost always had a 30% off coupon. I'm pretty sure you can get 20% off coupons on-line. It got pricey because I did pro pics each month, but I'm so glad I have them. I plan on doing DD's 15 month and Christmas pics at the same time.

I always stick with the one pose, the grandparents however always fall for the scheme.
Not sure where you are going but I've discovered it's cheaper at Sears to order the extra poses/ sheets online vs. ordering in the store.

I prefer Sears. If you go on their website you can print off the coupons for the 1 pose package.
