I desperately need to lose the 20+ pounds I've gained since getting married and having a baby. I bought myself some new running shoes this weekend at rogue running
I'm going to do the C25K program since that's the sort of thing I did last time I picked up jogging but I'm super out of shape now. Today I went to break in the shoes, with the baby in her jogging stroller. It was nice to be active again.
I saw there's several apps that help with the timing,etc, so that you don't have to watch the clock for the intervals and also keeps track of your progress for you. Does anyone use these, and if so, which one do you use and why do you like it?

I have a c25k app, but I prefer my RunKeeper app much more!

i like the kissmyblackass.org podcasts as opposed to the c25k apps. but, i liked the music selection, so if it wasn't your taste or if you already have music that you like to work out to, then I can understand the appeal of having an app and listening to music already on your phone.
Ditto. I don't keep music on my phone so this was a great (and free) alternative.
