Favorite board games?

We are having a party this weekend and both couples like board games. We have Scategories, Catch Phrase, and Cranium. I know our guest have Apples to Apples and the game of Things. What are your favorites? And our versions of Scategories and Catch Phrase our super old. Still work fine, but old. I just hate to replace them since they still work fine. Is that cheap of me?

If it's a relatively small group whose members know each other pretty well, Things is hysterical. We played it last weekend with a group of 6, and by the end we were sooo all trying to out-smart one another by trying to write like each other that we were in tears. Have fun!

I played Dicecapades with all my siblings (there are 7 of us) a few months ago and it was so much fun. It took a little bit of time to get off the ground, but when it did, it was hilarious!

Bezzerwizzer is super fun! Wits and Wagers, Smartaas, Trivial Pursuit Bet You Know It are all good too. It's not a board game but I love "Squares" which is basically similar to what Cranium came out with not too long ago, Scribblish.
