Re: Santa?

  • I think the pictures are sometimes adorable, but handing my baby to a strange man at the mall just seems weird to me.  I am totally doing a photo shoot with him in a santa outfit though- or maybe naked with the hat  LOL

  • Yep - we went last week. It was a hit! Noah was mesmerized. I have a pic on my blog (note: being near his idol, his big brother, may have added to the calm effect!!)

  • A friend of mine is a photographer and was doing photos with Santa at her studio. We tried...LO reacted exactly as DH and I thought he would. He was NOT happy! I can't blame him, really.

  • We went this past weekend. He was perfect. I think it helps that right now he totally ignores anyone who is holding him, so it doesn't matter when it's a stranger. Just sat and grinned at his father while the photographer snapped away.

    Adorable!

they are so handsome :) and it actually looks way better than most mall Santas! Was it the mall?

  • Not this year, maybe when she is older and can enjoy the "Santa experience."

DH and I are taking "ugly Christmas sweater" pictures this year (it's our tradition), and also buying a cutesy outfit for DD pics as well.

  • My parents have a Santa outfit (strange but true). My brother agreed to be Santa for pictures so we weren't handing our LO to a stranger. My DS loves his uncle so he reacts better to someone he knows.

Yep - just a regular mall Santa. We get the same guy every year - and truth be told, sometimes I think he's the real deal! LOL!!

  • yearly easter and christmas pics are a tradition in my family.  we already took her, and she did fine.  we also took her to see the bunny at 10 days old.  but dh and i were in that picture, because i wasn't about to let the bunny hold my brand new infant.

  • Santa pisses me off before Thanksgiving.

We'll take her to see Santa in mid-December, but won't wait on line for the whole sit-on-his-lap thing. We'll wait until she's older for that fun, fun experience. :)
