I don't know who else to ask...My stepfather (67yo) is thinking of getting the Kindle or Nook or the like. However, he's hesitant to ask for it for Christmas because he would feel really, really bad if he gets it and doesn't like it (in other words--what if he is too old fashioned to enjoy the new technology)?--believe it or not, that's his question!! Do any of you have any experience with this??? TIA
Re: PW3: NBR: Kindle or Nook for older people
My mom has a kindle. Ditto about adjusting the font size. I know nothing about the Nook (other than it makes me laugh to say Nook e-reader b/c in my head I think "Nookie reader" which makes me think of some guy looking at porn).
My mom has been happy w/ her kindle. It's very user friendly, easy to search, etc.
