Show me your boys with longer hair

So, I really want to grow Grant's hair out. Not long, long but just on the shaggier side. We had to cut it a few months ago because a major mullet. But I'm not sure what to do with it right now. It's growing around his ears a little and is a little long in the front, but I think the top and back are perfect. Should I just let it go and see what happens, or get the ears and front trimmed a little?

Can anyone share their pics of their little guys with longer hair? I'm not sure exactly how I want it to look but I just think it's so cute when boys have longer hair.

  • I don't have a picture I can post right now, but how about a shaggy surfer look, where it's not cut out around the ears and a little longer overall?

  •  I'm a chicken and haven't cut his hair yet.  I like it this length, so I'll probably cut it back to here when it starts to get much longer.

Please excuse the giant water spill on his shirt and pile of toys in the background.  :)

This is really cute. Did you ever trim the front? It doesn't look like your guys has very thick hair either... Grant's is kind of medium (not thick/not thin).

Thanks, I like his long hair.  People do think he's a girl sometimes even when he's wearing dinosaurs and giant trucks but whatever.

I haven't trimmed the front, but it did go through an awkward stage before it was long enough to go behind his ears.  It wasn't that bad though, and it didn't seem to bother him at all.  There were a couple of weeks when I would occasionally put a plain little clip in to keep it out of his eyes when we were at home.  That stage didn't last very long though.  His hair is pretty thin.  I'm not sure how well it would work with thicker hair.

  • Here is one of my DS.  His hair grows so fast.  He has already had 5 haircuts since he was born.

I loved the long hair, but he needed a cut. I will grow it back to the same length probably
