I am not normally a leggings wearer. But I know some of you are. I recently bought some because I am having problems finding long maternity pants that don't cost a ton of money.
How do you keep the crotch of the leggings up near your crotch?

Oh, I hate to tell you this, but they are probably too short for you. There's no trick other than hiking them up Sally O'Malley style (I'm FIFTY! FIVE OH!). I have this problem all the time with both leggings and tights and I know you are taller than I am. I usually try to get "tall" sized ones if I can. It's hit or miss. My favorites tights are from Hue and I have some long leggings from Gap.
Maybe try a new brand? I wore leggings every day during my pregnancy with V, I think, and some stayed up much better than others. I had the best luck with my Gap maternity leggings. Right now I've got some cheapies from Walmart (Faded Glory brand) that have a nice snug waist band and run a lot longer than my other leggings, maybe try a pair of those?

Yup. Ditto the others - they don't fit properly. You'll have to (unfortunately) keep searching.
Have you tried looking for more expensive brands on ebay? Try them on in the stores and get a feel for which ones will work and them buy them on the cheap online.
They are maternity leggings that are l/xl. So, suck about searching!
And, I know this sounds stupid, but they are kind of long--so what do you mean by too short. Maybe I am not pulling them up all the way over my belly like they should be...
ETA: I don't mean f-u to searching. I mean it sucks to have to search more. I don't have time to do that. It was hard enough this past weekend. I can't stay in my pants too much longer.

I'm no help with maternity leggings, but for me, if the inseam is too short, the crotch is halfway to my knees.

If I pull the crotch up to my crotch, the legs still go to just above my ankles.

Then what's the problem?
They're sagging, I think?
Maybe they're too big on ya. I'm not a leggings wearer, but I did go to catholic high school which meant that I wore tights on the daily. If they were too big, my crotch was to my knees by lunch time.

MMT: no need to eye roll...they sag back down after a while. I'm just not a leggings wearer. I didn't think they could be too big. It's the problem of being tall and skinny--it's hard to find clothes that fit both criteria.
Thanks MC.

Re: leggings question
LOL that was a funny way to put that question!
I never had that problem with leggings. I did have it the whole time I was PG, though.
I know, so helpful.
It is helpful. Maybe it will be a thing I deal with this pregnancy.

I bet you need mediums in tall.

I guess I need to go and try the medium/large (if they have those) and see if they are long enough.
No eye-roll intended. I was using the 'confused' emoticon.
