Anyone have success in finding a crib pad that is waterproof (or at least very absorbent) that isn't vinyl? I'm not talking about the actual mattress cover but a pad I can put down under the baby in the crib or PNP to catch any leaks so I don't always have to change the sheets. Thanks!

Re: Non-vinyl waterproof crib pad?
You should look into wool mattress pads. They are pretty pricey, though.
I have been very happy with waterproof flannel. I don't know exactly what its made of but both sides are soft flannel. I assume there's something sandwhiched inbetween to make it waterproof. You can buy crib-size sheets of it at babiesRUs or other stores. Now that DS is in a twin bed I wanted a bigger pad, couldn't find one to buy, but I found the same fabric at JoAnn's and just cut it to size - didn't need to sew the edges. It works great.
Sorry I can't make the link click-y
