Re: xmas cards?

  • I've done Winkflash photo cards for the last few years. They end up being about .23 each when all of the coupon codes come out.

  • For the life of me I can't remember who we did ours through last year, but I took the pics and made them, and had them printed at Costco, I think we got 100 for around $25, it was pretty cheap. My in-laws have a membership so it worked out well.
  • I like shutterfly the best. I have done walmart before and they were okay, but were cheap.

  • I've done winkflash a bunch because they're cheap.  I don't like their designs but I usually design my own and they let you upload your design straight to them.  Just watch the crop because they crop them in sometimes and I have no idea why.  I've even sent them to my clients and the quality wasn't bad.  I figure everyone just throws them out after Christmas anyway.  I want nice ones this year but I'm not sure I can afford the 100+ I send out. Last year I did nice, fancy ones for clients (about 50) and winkflash for family and friends (about 75).  (Yes, I have a huge family and, of course, my client list grows every year.)
  • If you send me one, I won't throw it out! LOL.  Seriously, though, I keep the photo cards I get - usually because that's the only pic I get some years of those families. ;)

I have used Winkflash the past several years - always the 5x7 flat card, with envelope and pay about .23/ea like Lari mentioned.

  • Ditto Ciarrai. I usually design my own and then upload them somewhere. I like nice cards, but it's hard for me to spend a lot on them bc I know most of the time they go in the trash.
  • I am assuming you guys must use photoshop or something to design your own. Never done that before.

Jetta - you are probably in the minority there with keeping them!!!

  • I save them! My mom always has a page in her scrapbook of Christmas cards from people.

Vistaprint has 10 free cards and then you usually get a discount on the rest of them. I haven't used them for photo cards yet, so I can't tell you if it's good quality.

  • I did my Hanukkah cards from Shutterfly.  I try to pick from their less expensive cards and I was able to use both a free shipping and a 40% off code so I saved a ton and I really like the cards.

  • I just ordered from shutterfly. I used the 40% off, $10 coupon i got in mail, free shipping, and 8% back from ebates.  75 cards came out to $55. :)
