I meet with my OB for the 1st time on Thursday (I've been seeing my family Dr up until this point). I'm trying to come up with a list of VBAC related questions to ask. I'm still pretty emotional about my c/s so I want to be very prepared so that my emotions don't just take over!!
This seems like it gets asked a lot, but I went back a few pages and didn't see anything. Sorry if this is really redundant.

I asked how long I could go (I went late the first time and had a c-section at 41w6d), I asked what sort of inductions they would/wouldn't do, and just to get a "feel" for how she felt about VBACs, I asked her what she thought my chances were. She didn't give a % but said that she's had patients that had really difficult first labors like mine and then had great VBACs.
One thing I do want to ask at my next appointment is how her partners feel about VBACs. I was in the hospital for days for my induction and there was a total disconnect between providers and their labor management styles -- some were totally laid back, and others were pushy, aggressive, fear mongering a-holes (and I think the reason I had a c-section). My doctor usually does all of her own deliveries, but she was not able to be there for mine. So I am concerned about that.
I also need to ask about "VBAC protocol" for the hospital and what, if anything, they do differently about VBACs.
I feel like I have the best doctor for a VBAC but combined with not the greatest hospital, so I just really hope the stars align and it works out.
