Anyone use Ultimate Crib Sheet?

This thing sounds like a really good idea.  But none of my friends IRL have ever used it!

Just wondering if anyone here has used it and if they like it.

Thanks!

Re: Anyone use Ultimate Crib Sheet?

  • I thought it was going to be the best thing ever but I gave ours away.  Found it to be a total PITA/no easier to change than a sheet.  Also, it's a very cold material. I ended up getting fuzzy velour sheets from Amazon :)  Warm and cozy!

  • We use them and love them! So much easier then taking the bumpers off to change a regular crib sheet. We have about 5 or 6 of them and I give at least one to all of my friends that are expecting. I will say don't put them in the dryer as they shrink.
  • I found it to be a PITA to use, and certainly not helpful (I expected so much more!!!).  DD didn't pee through very often, and if she did, we'd much rather just change the sheet and mattress pad.  It's much faster and much nicer.

  • We have one, but have actually never used it in the crib.

    A bit of a confession:

The reason I don't have it in the crib is because I think it may be uncomfortable for the baby. When I was full term in my pregnancy I placed it under the fitted sheet on my side of the bed in case my water were to break while I was asleep. It seriously drove me crazy! It  made me feel so clammy and uncomfortable, so I decided not to put it under the baby either.

Obviously babies sleep differently than adults (i.e. no pillow, soft mattress, etc), but it just bothered me enough to not chance it.

Ditto this. We use it a few times when he spit up in the middle of the night. I didn't have it on the crib already, though, I just tossed it on top of the sheet already on there until morning. I didn't attach it to the crib, either. I wouldn't have bought it for this purpose but this is the only use we ever got out of it. It would be a PITA to attach all the snaps around the crib and I don't know how you'd even do the back. I was really excited about them but found them not to be worth it.
