My RCS is scheduled at 39 weeks and 2 days and I'm starting to worry I'm going to go into labor early this time around even though DD#1 was 5 days late. This happen to anyone?!
I only had one c/s but I did go into labor the night before it was scheduled. My c/s was also scheduled for 39w2d. It made me feel better that it was the actual day my LO was supposed to come!
I went into labor before my first c/s. It was not scheduled but DD was breech so it was coming. My water broke about 6 hours later I went to the hospital. I was not contracting.
I was scheduled for a c section for 39 weeks but my water broke and i went into labor at 37 weeks. My son was breech the whole pregnancy so i had an emergency c section.
I was in early labor for a few days before my RCS. When they hooked me up to the monitor in triage the nurse said I was having some strongish contractions. Mine was scheduled at 38w1d
My c/section was scheduled for Oct. 13th and on Oct. 10th, I went into labor. I decided to give a VBAC a try since things were happening on their own. No such luck. DS was born on Oct. 11th.

i did! RCS was scheduled for 39 wks and i went for my 37 week appt. and my BP was up and i had protein in my urine so my OB sent me to L&D for monitoring. i was there for 4 hours and i went into labor--contractions started at 2-3 minutes apart that i couldn't talk through! i had DS within the hour--thank goodness i was already in the hospital because i wasn't a candidate for VBAC and it started so fast, my OB said i could have ruptured.

We were scheduled to go in on Monday, August 8th (39 wks, 6 days) because my DS was frank breech. My water broke on Thursday, August 4th (39 wks, 2 days) and he was born a few hours later
DD2 was scheduled for a RCS and I ended up going into spontaneous PTL at 33 wks. They couldn't stop it, so I had the c/s then. DD1 was also 5 days late. Both of my pgs were completely textbook (no GD, PIH, etc.) - until the day DD2 was born.
Chances are in your favor that you'll make it to your scheduled RCS. My situation was a total fluke and we don't know what happened - my OB was certain that they'd be able to stop the contractions and just send me home on strict bedrest. Because of DD2's PTL and the fact that I'm carrying twins, its very likely I won't make it to my scheduled c/s at 38 wks, but my MFM & OB are taking preventative measures to keep the boys in.
GL and I wouldn't worry/stress about it. Like I said, the odds are in your favor to make it. Stressing/worrying about it does more harm to you and your LO.

I was scheduled for February 13 and went into labor on the 11th. Didn't even know I was in labor. I just happened to have a NST that day and was having consistent contractions and was dialated to 3cm and was at a 0 2 days prior.
I have a feeling I will go before my scheduled date this time too. I don't know why...just a feeling.

I went into labor while we were scheduling my first c/s. I went in on a Monday for an u/s and appt, and we agreed to schedule my c/s for that Friday when I would be 39 wks exactly. I wasn't thinned or dilated, so I didn't expect labor before my c-section. However, I went back to work and my water broke in the bathroom, so I had my c-section that evening. It was a little rushed, but it wasn't a big deal that it happened 4 days earlier than scheduled.
