Any other Hunger Games fans?

Not sure how I feel about things like casting, and there were some things I would have liked to see in the trailer... but very excited nonetheless!

    Looks pretty good so far.  I am still not on board with the casting of Peeta- I don't think Josh Hutcherson looks like Peeta at all. 

    I'm also interested in seeing how they made it PG13.  There is some horrible stuff that happens, and I wonder how they'll show it and not get an R rating.

    my bff read it on vacation and loved the books.  I have no idea what they are about.  I'm guessing from the trailer it is a pretty intense read and I probably wouldn't like it.  It is a series right?

    I'm pretty excited about it. I don't mind the casting either. I think they did a good job of not getting super stars to play all of the roles. I'm just really interested to see how different the districts are and if they can really pull it off.

    Jewels - it is a trilogy.  The books are very intense and so it makes for a fast read.

    I bought the books, but they are still sitting unread....A is still in our room, so my reading before bed time is non-existent at this point in time.  I look forward to reading them though.

    Haven't watched the trailer yet (Paul is sleeping next to me right now) but I am excited to see the movie & how they pull it off.

    I'm making DH read at least the 1st book before the movie comes out.

     Julie- I never would have picked this type of book but a friend recommended it & I got hooked! Thank goodness for the Kindle because I had to read the 2nd book right when I finished the 1st and it was like 11pm lol

    A friend of mine had linked the trailer on FB and I just watched it before logging in here. I kind of like the idea of having 'newbies' as the main characters. I'm really interested in how they will show all the crazy stuff from the books and make it look real.
