we stopped watching the show a few weeks ago b/c the writing was just killing us, plus we found a blog that made fun of the show and loved it even more than the show. dh shared this quote from twitter with me last night though and i cant help but share:
The Walking Dead's a show about heroic zombies trying to stop self-indulgent humans from having an annoying soap opera.
Re: walking dead fans, no spoilers
Agree. It has gone way too far in the soap opera direction.
What happenes to unemployed soap opera writers? They become walking dead.
I'm holding on for now but I haven't watched last nights episode. If they haven't found that little girl or left that farm or something I might give up soon.
I think that's why I like these new shows on the WB like the Vampire Diaries(yes, I'm comparing VD to WD), there is something happening every.single.episode. That's why the the Walking Dead was great last year because it was full of stuff happening. I'm tired of the damn highway and farm already.
I still love it. So does DH.

Yep! Although I do miss the major scare factor of last season. There are still heart-pounding parts, but they're much smaller. I want to be crawling-the-walls terrified!
My DH is a total zombie finatic. Has been for years. He loves the show but even he is getting tired of the sappy stories. Btw I am borrowing this line and putting it on his fb.
