Looking for Mom groups in the Macomb County area

Hi there!  My name is Kim and I'm new to the boards.  I will be a first time mommy come December of this year and was hoping to find some mom groups to lean on as I enter this new phase in my life!  Anybody know of any in the area?  Thanks so much!!

    There are some on meetup.com.   But a great place to meet people in your area is through your local public library.  They have infant storytime at least once a week(more for the mom not the baby at this point) and it's free.

    as the pp mentioned, meetup is a good place to find groups- i've actually recently started to get involved in the macomb moms meetup, and all the moms are super nice. i also like the MOPS organization, you can find a local group through their website. maybe i'll see you around!

    There's a Gymboree group in Clinton Township, when your DC is old enough that's a great place to go and meet parents with children the same age as yours.
