Internal before ok for sex?

Does anyone know if you have an internal before you can have sexy time? Thanks!

    I'm assuming you mean during your 6 week check up since your baby is already born?  They did one on me since I labored before and they wanted to make sure things were back the way they should be so there wasn't a risk for infection.  I've never known anyone cleared for sex before the 6 week postpartum point because your uterus is still healing from where the placenta was attached.

    You need to wait the 6 weeks for your check up. Your placenta detaching left a huge hole in your uterus and you can get an infection. They don't say wait 6 weeks just to torture you.

    I got the okay at 5 weeks.  I had an internal, I got to 5 cm before my c section.

     

    Sex hurt for a while at first.

    Your 6w check up with be your go ahead after your dr determines that you are healed enough. Besides infection, there is a higher chance of getting pregnant again so soon after delivery.

    I went 4 weeks PP for my follow up appointment. My ob checked my incision and I had an internal. She told me to continue pelvic rest until 6 weeks PP.

    I had an internal palpation exam (no speculum, looking or pap) at my 6 week pp visit where they tell you if you can have sex again.
