Trouble TTC
We did IUI #5 Friday (edited title- :( it's been 5, not 4)
This is our last attempt before moving to IVF in January. We really can't seem to catch a break on DH's numbers. When we first began testing last year, we were told he was just below average on motility. Over the past six months since our first IUI where we got pregnant, his numbers have been way low, to the point the Dr. thinks we'll need IVF/ICSI. It's so frustrating to think that we had this six months ago, and now this is where we're at. We only had 4.5 million post wash this IUI, so I don't expect it will work. I'll get AF right after Thanksgiving, and start bc pills then in preparation for our January IVF.

IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75

Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
It's really strange, especially given the fact he's taking all of his vitamins religiously now. I hope YH's numbers improve!

DX: MFI - less than 1 million sperm, 26% motility
DH put on anastrozole to increase counts
June/July 2011 100 mg Clomid + TS IUI#1 & IUI 2 - BFN :-(
Forced break due to DH getting spinal surgery in August 2011
IVF - January 2012: BFN
FET in April 2012 - BFP at 6dp5dt! Beta #1 at 9dp5dt: 82.5, Beta #2 at 12dp5dt: 352 Beta #3 at 19dp5dt: 6000, saw heartbeat and one little bean at 5W6D!
After nearly 3 years of waiting our LO was born December 18th 2012!

What vitamins? MH's numbers are still considered in the normal range, but have significantly dropped for all 3 IUI's. Should he consider vitamins too? Or should we ask the RE?

11-18-11 Clomid & Ovidrel IUI #2= ?
DH saw a urologist last year when we first started testing before going to an RE. He was put on Conception XR for motility (theralogix.com) and has also been taking a regular mulit-vitamin. You could ask your RE, but they may tell YH to see a uro. Conception XR also has a supplement to increase numbers for IVF, but this is for severe MFI. I think I've also heard people talk about FertileAid for Men, which is way cheaper.
