This coming weekend I'm going to start cooking freezer meals in preparation for my delivery, I found good recipes but still looking for other ideas. Would you ladies mind sharing what you made?

I haven't done a whole lot yet....I'm getting nervous that I'm running out of time.
Here's my plan:
Chicken stock
Pasta sauce (and meatballs)
Sausages (cooked)
Pre-cooked ground beef and pork (easy to throw into pasta sauce or turn into tacos, chili, etc.)
Split pea and bacon soup
Mushroom risotto
Beef and vegetable stew
Butternut squash and potato soup
Chicken Masala (maybe if I have enough room left in my freezer!)
Bread, muffins, and pancakes (just for me, since I'm gluten/dairy free and really don't want to be standing in the kitchen for hours baking all my stuff after baby is born)

Also made this soup, it's delicious! Just add the rotini pasta before serving as it probably won't freeze well.
I also made beef stroganoff and am planning on making chicken paprikash to freeze, then just cook up egg noodles when I want to serve them.
If I have time I'd like to make ham and potato soup, lasagna, and spaghetti and meatballs. And I've heard that some people make crockpot meals, freeze them in freezer bags, and then just pop them into the crockpot in the morning which sounds like a great idea.
I also made two batches of chocolate chip cookie dough and divided them into smaller freezer bags so we can just pop them out and bake a few at a time when we want them, and I made loaves of banana, pumpkin cranberry, and zucchini bread to thaw out and slice for the holidays or for breakfast.
I plan on making white chicken chili, tortilla soup, enchiladas, pasta bakes, etc. I also plan on having things on hand for easy crock pot meals. More importantly, we plan on making 3 weeks worth of menus and shopping lists that go along with them, that way we won't be scrambling for meals last minute. We will just rotate the menus so we aren't eating the same thing all the time. I am going on a serious diet after this baby and DH is going to do it with me.
Most of my freezer meals have already been posted here, but I also plan on making some Shepherd's pies and fajita kits. I have never tried the fajita kits before, but what I have read works is to slice up your peppers, onions and mushrooms and put them in a vacuum sealed bag. You can also make a bag of sliced chicken, but we always have chicken breasts, so I am not going to worry about that. Then, when we want to have fajitas, we only have to cook the chicken, cook the veggies and make sure we have tortillas, cheese and salsa. This is all stuff DH is comfortable doing, so even though it isn't 100% ready to go, it will make my life easier and at least get the shopping and chopping part done.

thanks for posting all of these ideas! i was just wondering about freezing meals and what would work best.
i've heard you can't freeze any soup that has milk in the recipe, anyone know if that's true?
Not sure if that's true or not, but normally you had milk/cream to soup at the very last minute and only let it warm up (not cook). So, you could just wait to add it once your frozen soup is warmed and almost done. Just put a note with your container to add x cups of milk.

I just made a lasagna, and I have some chili already in the freezer. I'm also planning on making bran muffins. I might double some of the other things I make between now and then....but I know MIL will be forcing herself here to cook things and my church does a "baby meals" delivery....so I don't think I need a ton.
Re: freezer meals idea?
Actually I'm using 4 of her recipes:-)
lol ok, well I have no other suggestions

Lots of freezable recipes and they are seasonal, so they take advantage of the sales this month. We are eating the Traditional October menu right now!

Happily welcomed healthy baby girl December 2011.
Excited to welcome a new addition September 2014!
I found these Crockpot freezer recipes that I plan on making this weekend:

Here is my list (all can be found on the internet or in "Don't Panic, Dinner's in the Freezer": https://tinyurl.com/6mmkkcq
(ETA: I have 8x8 pan sizes notes but that's because I ordered a bunch of foil 8x8 pans. Anything 8x8 is really a 9x13 recipe)
