has anyone done the shutterfly free card deal and gotten their free card code yet? I did this last year and was thinking of doing it again and I submitted my info like 3 weeks ago and still haven't gotten the info to post on the blog to get the code yet. has anyone else gone through the process and gotten the info yet?
Re: shutterfly deal?
I didn't realize they were doing this again. I loved doing it last year, such a great deal. If anyone has details and it's still going please let me know.
I think the cut off for the blog post was Oct. 31. They sent me an email in mid-october with all the requirements/rules. Then almost immediately they sent me the promo codes. They gave out 50 free holiday cards for you + 3 codes for 25 free cards. Now, I should mention that I haven't actually used my code yet so I suppose it might not work but they have really good customer service so maybe just give them a call and see if they'll let you in on it since you did it last year? So strange that they didn't send you an email.
I love this promo! Between now and Christmas, I spend A LOT of time on Shutterfly- I have already designed our cards (thanks again Brooke!) and Sophie's birthday invites. Now I'm working on Sophie's 1st year book, 2012 calendars for our family, and a new Disneyworld book for Gavin's stocking. Every little bit helps. Oh and one more tip... before you check out, always make sure to google for shutterfly coupon codes. I saved $35 on Sophie's birthday invites last week without even having any codes on my own to start with! Plus when they got here, they sent me another 10% code to use next time :-)
Hey! OK, my deal was different. I only got a code for 25 free cards--but I'm not complaining. I just posted my blog entry last week, ordered the cards (I just order regular photo cards to use like stationery) and received my order a couple of days later. It was FAST! But I did get the code BEFORE I actually wrote the blog post.
My e-mail came from Rosalyn Ramos, and here was a bit about the deadline--looks like there were kind of flexible, which is good for me!
"Ideally, we?d like the posts to go up by October 30th, but respect your editorial calendar. Thanks again - we look forward to reading what you have to say about Shutterfly?s 2011 holiday card collection!"
