E's tree is up. Presents are mostly wrapped. I think I will put the tree up this weekend just because my mom is keeping E Saturday night. That way I can just get it all done and have some place to put the presents.

I was thinking of putting the tree up Thanksgiving weekend, but waiting to decorate it until the following weekend. I thought it might be a good idea to let DD get used to it before putting pretty things on it.
Dh doesn't like Christmas before Thanksgiving (which kills me every year!). I have everything already ready, but tucked away in cupboards and drawers near where it gets "displayed" (can't think of a better word). Come the day after T-giving, all I have to do is pull the pieces out and stick em in their spots. CAN'T WAIT!!
ETA: The lights outside are going up this afternoon...wont be turning them on til next weekend though.

First weekend in December probably. I'm having family over after C's birthday party on November 26th to open his gifts and I need all the room I can get, so my tree will have to wait until after that. And no time to do it during the week means I'll have to wait until the weekend.
It's completely irrational, but it pisses me off when people try to decorate/start celebrating Christmas before my birthday (it's later this week). I know it's ridiculous, but I like to wait until after my b-day and then we can start talking about Christmas decorations.

We are being better this year and actually putting up decorations outside. We bought new lights at Costco, so we will put them up Thanksgiving weekend. For the tree, we will wait a few weekends.

Probably Thanksgiving weekend. We're going OOT 12/24-12/31, so I am really undecided about a tree.
I did break out S's Christmas jammies last night though. They were too freaking cute not to.
