i have an iud. we really want a third child, but it's really not in the current budget or family plan.
friday i had really weird pains, not at all like my normal AF-is-coming-within-hours pains. started spotting that night. saturday morning, within a period of not more than 15 minutes, i filled a super plus tampon and made a mess of my pants before i realized it. and then i passed a clot the size of a lemon.
i sent DH to the store for a HPT, which came back BFP. i freaked. b/c what else do you do. sunday i took another, initially it was a BFP (i waited a few minutes before looking, so not likely an evaporation line). after another 20 minute meltdown, i went back to the bathroom to throw the test away and noticed that the second line had disappeared...BFN? took the third test in the box this morning, BFN.
early m/c? bad box of tests? i don't even know what to think. going to see my MWs for blood test this afternoon.
strangely, i would absolutely LOVE to be pregnant, even though it's totally not in our current plan. but every time i've looked at DD this weekend, it's made me sad b/c i want her to have more time. probably not even an issue anymore anyway.
Re: wtf...bfp, bfn?
I hope everything is OK. From what I know, there is no such thing as a false positve, only a false negative. I hope you get some answers soon! Keep us posted! *hugs*
Between you and Jitterbug, I'm seriously wondering if I need to use backup BCP.
Ditto -all of it!
thanks ladies. it's rather unnerving. i'm also considering back up BC. i really wanted to avoid hormonal BC and i hate condoms...but...what else is there? we did NFP for a while, but it made me a little paranoid and i prefer to be spontaneous (especially with kids...you have to take advantage of moments that move you, KWIM?).
ugh...1 hr to b/w.
hugs right back at you, mama! have been thinking about you hard all weekend and hoping everything is okay with you. heading out to MW for b/w now. fingers crossed for...IDK what.
Same here, all of it.
I hope everything is OK, I'm so sorry this is happening!
