anyone else having crazy trouble sleeping?? if it's not the heartburn, it's the leg cramps, or the nerves in my hips going numb from sleeping on my side, to the backache, to the constant pee trips...
and yes, i have a body pillow, but the dang thing is so gigantic it is ridiculous trying to fling it over when i switch sides, which is enough of a hassle!!!
if this is just preparation for how it's going to be once baby gets here...i'm in some trouble....
Re: i miss sleep. like whoa.
The body pillow is BS. That's everyone's recc and it didn't help me at all haha. I have all those same issues.
Honestly, even though i'll be waking every 2-3 hours when the baby is here, at least the sleep in between feeings should be more restful than this crap.
I don't have a body pillow, I just use a regular pillow behind my back when I need it, & a throw pillow in between my thighs for round ligament & hip pain! It's pretty easy to switch sides using those.
But I'm having trouble sleeping as well! Last night I woke up completely drenched in sweat, but I was freezing. I also woke up to pee about 10 times. I used to get really bad heartburn when I slept, too, but I added yet another pillow under my head & shoulders so it kind of elevates me a little more & I haven't had it at all since then.
The other night I was contemplating how helpful it would be if I could cut off one of my arms so that I was more comfortable not having to sleep on it. I cannot get comfortable either. Body pillow is indeed BS, and I HATE having to manuever it from side to side, trying to find enough room with two dogs on the bed and my husband. Some nights I just want to lock the door and sprawl out all by myself...but I would probably still be uncomfortable.
Lol! If I lay on one side for too long it all goes numb also. Just started happening this week. Thank you weight gain..
As I am typing this I am falling asleep because I have been up since 2am. I wake up to go pee and cannot fall back asleep at all.
I have tried the body pillow and it does not work. Sleeping on the couch helps because it supports my back, but I have to physically get up to switch to my other side because of the pain from sleeping on one side for so long.
I just want one night of good uninterrupted sleep.
