Here is the one that the bump has. I found it nice to have some snacks of your own, in case you wake up hungry when you are there. Also, extra hair ties, what ever you were comfortable in. I had a c/s and wore yoga pants and nursing tanks. I was one of those people who did my make-up while I was there too. What ever you think you will need to be comfortable.
I brought yoga pants, T-shirts, nursing bras and socks. I can't stand being bra-less so I knew I'd want them in the hospital.
I also brought my make-up, hair dryer and flat iron. After my c/s once I was finally allowed to shower I felt like a whole new woman to "get ready" again.

Other than what was previously said, I brought a headband for delivery, an iPod for music, pillows for DH and I cuz we're particular. I left home magazines, DVDs, the boppy, and baby book.

cash for DH to get himself some food, some snacks for him, an extra pen and maybe a folder- you get lots of paperwork and flyers etc. Also you have to write down the baby's ins and outs and I was always losing the tiny pencil they gave me. battery chargers. I didn't take many toiletries. Wish I had brought 2 pjs, mine got baby poop on it right away so I wore DH's T shirt the rest of the time. Extra clothes for DH, a pillow for him. and a going home outfit for baby.
Nursing pads, panty liners, comfy clothing, baby's going home outfit (or two, each in different sizes in case one doesn't work out,) makeup, face wash, toothbrush/tooth paste, chapstick, hair clips, snacks, cash, camera battery charger, phone charger
Honestly, I didn't need a lot of that extra stuff that pops up on many of those lists. All I will bring this time is: a robe, yoga pants/outfit to change into/wear home, toiletries and make up, boppy, breast pads, change for DH (for the snack machine), outfit for LO, camera and camcorder.

Don't forget hand lotion! I did and wanted it sooo bad. After washing your hands all the time or using the hand sanitizer, your hands get really dry. The hospital gave me some lotion and I didn't like it much.
