Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Jeans for small waisted 1 year olds

Toot have gained 10 pounds since birth, but has a pretty good length to her so finding pants is sometimes a struggle. Last winter after she was born we found out that the Target Circo brand jeans fit her well because they were banded around the whole waist. Sadly they only go up to 9 months in size and they would be high waters on her. Does anyone else have jeans recommendations for small waisted babies.
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.

  • The Genuine Kids brand by Osh Kosh at Target and the Sonoma brand at Kohls both have adjustable waist pants starting at 12 month sizes.

  • Carson wears Old Navy in 6-9 month size.  They are *just* long enough

Carson Henry, born 39w, 2d, via emergency c/s due to no fetal movement and fetal distress.  Seizures, IVH grade 2, brain injury, kidney and liver damage.  Complete blood clot in the artery in his right arm.  27 days in the NICU.  Now discharged from all specialists, excepts his kidney doctor, who will monitor him indefinitely.  My tough little cookie.

  • Most jeans from Baby Gap, Old Navy, and Gymboree have the adjustable waistband inside.  They have been a lifesaver for us!

  • My LO has the same issue.  She can wear 9 or 12 month waist, but need 18 month length most of the time.  Children's place seems to fit her well, as well as, baby Gap & Old Navy.  I have gotten all of these brands for jeans 2nd hand for a great price.  Also, Circo brand is great for the toddler sizes in leggings/sweats.  They fit LO perfectly.  I have recently gotten a rec. for Sonoma brand from Kohl's as well!  And they are a reasonable price.

  • Old Navy has adjustable waist, but they might not start until 18-24 mo.  I have to cinch those babies way up, but the length is perfect.  It's hard finding clothes for a tall, skinny baby.

  • Both of my boys have small waists (well, Preston has as small waist, Harrison just has no butt, which is essentially the same problem). They both fit very well in Old Navy and Gymboree brands.

  • Ditto Old Navy. 12-18 months is perfect on DS right now, and he's 19 months old. I'd try 9-12 months.

Also, we just bought one of these and it's been great, because he can finally wear some 18 month pants.

  • I just bought Children's Place and Crazy 8 (sister company to Gymboree) and both have adjustable waists. They are long on DS but I'm fine with rolling the bottoms. Oshkosh also have adjustable waists! Good luck!

  • I second Osh Kosh and we also have good luck with Baby Gap.

  • We use Dapper Snappers for DS slight waistline (check them out on Amazon - I don't know how to make a clicky, sorry).   Work like a charm and he can wear any pants now!
  • Thank you all so much. The dapper snapper seems like a good solution because I could put her in regular jeans that fit her length

Dapper Snappers are awesome! DS has used his from about 8months on. He is so tall and skinny that he can wear 9 month waist but needs 24 month length... so we have a big problem finding pants. I love his dapper snapper!!
