HEB points?

We went to HEB today and the cashier gave Gracie a buck. We put it in the machine and she got a sticker that said she has 2 points. What am I supposed to do with the points? TIA

yell "OMG. you got a 2 sticker bc youre 2. howw cool!" then throw it away that night when you peel it off her shirt. at least that's what i do.

I was curious so I googled it. Apparently there is a scorecard by the crane machine. When you collect enough points, you mail them in on the scorecard for a prize.

There is a little booklet by the machine that you can put the stickers in and when you have enough can redeem for a prize. We never get enough (or care enough) to get a prize, but D likes putting them in the book.

HEB and their lame point system. Gracie wants a "right now" prize not one she has to save up for. Haha

um, if you're like me you shake your head subtley at the cashier when they say 'would they like buddy bucks' and pretend you have no idea what the people at that machine are doing as you walk by and lily yells 'TREASURE!' in the general direction of those machines...

Oh ok so now it's adding up why she brings berries and general yard waste to Logan as her "treasures" -- mama just won't let her stop at the machine... Got it now.

Abby doesn't like the new machine at HEB Plus as much as the old "claw machine" style. The new one just prints a sticker. For her the biggest part of the prize was always the "gumball" or plastic case. Not the sticker itself.

I hate it when they try to give you 2-3 buddy bucks per kid . Just like they did for the family of like 5 kids in front of you. Then when you want to get out of the store like NOW, you have to wait while all 5 kids take their sweetass time getting their "prizes" while both your 2 & 4 year old scream bloody murder and attempt to fall head first out of the shopping cart . Good times.

My kids like this thing too. They like getting the stickers and putting them in the book. And they get REALLY excited when they get the instant wins stickers. What really bugs me is that Grandma works at H-E-B so she has access to all the "cool" prizes. When I tell them they already have all the prizes so we don't need to get the stickers they still insist on the stickers.
