For those of you that came out to your family while out of the state or country, how did you do it? I want cute ideas on how to do it. I am sad we wont be able to do it in person

    We Skyped with them and just talked about our day. I said "Oh I went shopping, do you want to see the new dress I bought?" then I held up a cute little newborn outfit.

    I made a shadow box, mailed it to them & watched them open it on skype.

    Do you have an ultrasound photo yet?  You could send the parents a "Happy Grandparents Day" card with a photo of the ultrasound. 
    TTC since June, 2011 with anovulatory PCOS, 1 blocked tube, and mild MFI
    3rd cycles clomid + Ovidrel = BFN
    4th cycles letrozole/Ovidrel + IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 = BFP! Twins due 2/5/2014

    We had just PCS'd so we gave them a Skype tour of our new house and showed them the future nursery.
