Does anyone have nursing tanks they really reccommend? I've heard lots of ladies say they got along just fine without them. But I need tanks to wear under certain cardigans and zip up active wear jackets anyways so thought I might try a few. Anyone know of good deals or brands that work best?
I'd also like to consider trying a ring sling. I'm not wild about the idea but think it will grow on me quickly when I actually have a LO with me all day. So far I'm not liking the prices I've seen ($60+). Does anyone reccommend a certain ring sling carrier?
Re: Nursing tanks and Carrier Sling
I like my Bravado tanks. While I'm not nursing yet, they're long enough to cover the big baby bump and they provide enough support for my 40G breasts that I don't have to also wear a bra with them. They're a little pricier but they're worth it for me.
I have some Gillian OMalley from target and some walmart nursing tanks - lived in them for 2 yrs though always wore w/ breastpads when out of the house to hid the nips.
As for the ring sling, if you are handy you can make your own for cheap, that's what I did making a few, ordered the rings from ringsling.com.
Don't know about nursing tanks but amazon.com sells these lite on shoulder ring slins for abou $30 deepending on the pattern you want. Here's the link.

Ring Sling it is $80 but we still use it and DD is over the age of 2! So worth it Zolowear Ring Sling!
We breastfed in it too.. What I did since all the nursing tanks I got didn't fit me right, I just used shelf bra camis from old navy that were talls and a little bt too big for me and I could just pull down the top of it.
I lived in nursing tanks because you don't need to wear a bra with them, although they provide amazing support and it's so easy to feed discreetly in public. My favorite ones by far are the Glamourmom Tanks. They are more expensive but it's so worth the price. They are longer to cover your not so sexy maternity jeans post delivery. They also suck your tummy in and they have cute colors so you can feel feminine while you also feel like a feeding trough. I also had some Target tanks that didnt last long, we're to short and left much to be desired in the support department. Madella also has some bamboo tanks which were nice and soft, but too short. I kept playing tug of war with mine. I love the Glamourmom's... truly amazing!!
