I had a scheduled csection with my daughter in May of 2010.  She was breech.  I just had my second section on Friday.  I was scheduled for November 29th, but my DS's hr was way too high.  So we had to do a c-section on Friday instead.  My dr and anothe OB did my surgery together.  I have seen my dr. since.  The other doctor has been on call all weekend.  But he told me that I had a lot of scar tissue from my previous c-section.  He told me that if I decide I want anymore I should only have  one more.  It shocked me.  I am so over the moon happy about  my healthy baby boy.  But I am kind of upset about it.  I definietly want another child in the future and now I am scared about even more scarring from this one.  It seemed more traumatic.  They had a hard time getting him out and I am way more sore this time around.  I plan on talking with my dr about all of this at my f/u appt.  Has anyone else been told that they have lots of scar tissue and should not get pregnant again or should only try one more time?

Re: Anyone told they have lots of scar tissue?
::jumps up and down:: hi sweetie! Congratulations!!!!! Yes, those were all needed. :-)
I was told that I didn't have a lot of scar tissue, but told that I should only have 1 maybe 2 more.
Thanks Maggie!
Seriously just started tearing up again because I'm so happy for you. I love seeing the girls from our "group" having their rainbows.
This was my second C-section and this one took a lot longer than the first. Doc said I had a lot of adhesions they had to deal with during surgery and had to do a test of some sort on my bladder to make sure it wasn't messed up. I actually opted for the tubal ligation, so I'm not planning on more kids, but the doctor did say that if I ever had to have surgery in that area again it would be challenging so I can imagine they would have said not to have another baby if I was heading that route.
oh, and ignore my ticker that I've been too lazy to change. DD is now 9 weeks old!
Me! In the middle of my CBAC, the surgeon had to call in for back up because the adhesions were so bad she couldn't tell my uterus apart from my bladder which are all webbed together along with my abdominal muscle. I wasn't told not to have anymore, but i did end up with a classical c/s incision on my uterus bc they couldnt enter transverse; so they only told me another one would be an automatic c/s....which i'm still debating on. I'm also looking into having the adhesions removed laprascopically. My last c/s was over an hour long and i'm scared what they may find if i have another c/s, so i'm hoping to clear it out before getting pregnant again.
