? for non-pregnant partners

So, here's a little TMI post.

Have any of the non-pregnant partners noticed changes in their period since their partners got pregnant?

I seriously feel like I am cramping and bleeding for the both of us--not in a medically scary way, but a noticeable difference.  I thought it was coincidence at first...but month after month?

Then, I realized that women affect each other's cycles...so I wonder if the hormones in her body are affecting mine this way?

Anybody else? I might be nuts.

  • I had not considered this at all. I had a heavier period this month, but I assumed it was because I started eating sugar again after avoiding it for a while. I cut way back again, so we'll see what happens next month. I'm interested to see what others have experienced!

  • My normally regular period was over 2 weeks late when waiting to find out if my partner was pregnant (she wasSmile).  This produced much anxiety in me because of my genetic relation to our donor and the fact that we inseminated at home with sexual activity between my partner and I.
