We have the Lillian Vernon Heirloom ones, and I love them.

I can't access their site right now (looks like they're working on it):

I still used the one my mom made for me (needlepoint) as a kid, and these work well with it. Very traditional.

They probably count as cheesy, but we have felt Bucilla ones and I love them. My mom made me one when I was a baby and I've made ones for Kate, DH and Ninja.

I love those. DH told me today he doesn't like knit stockings. Keep in mind we've had striped knit stockings for the last 6 years! (haha)
