I took today off to volunteer at a women's conference my church is hosting this weekend, but I don't have to be there until 4PM, so this morning I volunteered for a few hours at the library and then went and had donuts and coffee for lunch. I'll leave in about an hour to go volunteer.
Did I mention that the conference is all about SEX?! I'm so excited, the church has been planning and praying for this conference for 18 months, and it is finally here. We have 3 authors coming to speak to us on the topic of intimacy in marriage, and tomorrow afternoon there is also a breakout session for single women.
I'll also be volunteering/attending the conference all day tomorrow. Sunday is regular church service and then I work in the afternoon.
Tomorrow- DH best friend who he hasn't seen in almost 2 years will be here to visit so we will be spending the whole day with him. Then we will all head to a friends 40th b-day.
Sunday- We will all be recovering from the party on Saturday I am sure.

Moving to DE in summer 2013
We moved to TX from Seattle this summer and haven't had much time to explore the "great outdoors" here. Our goal for tomorrow is to find somewhere with water and trees (and imagine in some mountains). Then church and small group on Sunday.
GnomeSweetGnome: the conference sounds awesome! Enjoy.

We are going to a "Do it the right way" wedding tonight (it even said that on the invite!) Ugh. The couple are close friends of the family and got married by a JOP last year bc she was ku. Of course. The thing is, last year they did the whole thing- dress, tuxes, hair etc. I'm offended that now, just bc they are having a huge party afterwards it's now "the right way."
And I'm choosing not to drink this tww. Ahhh.

I am going to POAS this weekend and it's all I can think about! My beta's Monday, so this will probably be teh longest weekend of my life. Also the Bears have a divisional game this weekend, so I'll be watching that. It's been a stressful couple weeks so i may just go to the mall by myself and zone out. It helps me decompress, and i want to do that before Christmas makes the mall unbearable.
I used to have a more exciting life, honest.

We're going to spend tomorrow with some family. I'm making this weekend my "last hurrah" of sorts since I just started Metformin and I HAVE to get serious about this dieting business. So, tomorrow I will be enjoying a cocktail or two...or seven... .
Then Sunday it's off to the in-laws for our usual Sunday routine. We go out every weekend and spend time with DH's family and my DH will be doing some hunting.
Tonight has been a sort of lazy night. We're watching our 2 and a half and 18 month old nephews for the night. (I love my nephews more than anything but sometimes it's so hard to see them growing up while we're trying so hard to give them a cousin). But it's almost bedtime anyway! Yay!
I hope everyone has a great weekend!
