We met the BM, her mom, and grandpa. They are so wonderful and sweet! It was much more relaxed and comfortable than I thought it would be. We were all talking and laughing the whole time. We were able to be with her when she talked to the nurse and found out everything that'll happen tomorrow and got a tour of the hospital and rooms, so that was really cool. And I'm going to be in the delivery room! I was really surprised because they said she could only have one person in the room and she wanted me to be there! I am so excited that I get to experience that.
Now we're just sitting in a hotel room waiting for tomorrow.
Re: Update
Since you posted yesterday I am hoping you are enjoying time with your little one

Thoughts will be with you tomorrow!
We were fortunate and got to be in the delivery room also. Something I did not expect (and no one prepared me for it) was the BM crying after delivery that she could not give her up, that she is her baby girl, etc. I completely understood her feelings, but it was extremely hard to hear after experiencing the birth (I was bawling because that was the first time I thought it wasn't going to go through). Our SW told us that every BM goes through it, but most APs don't hear it. Her mom ran to her side and told her all the reasons they could not keep her and all the reasons they chose us, and BM agreed, then told the nurses that her mommy could hold her first, which I did.
I went on a tangent, and this was longer than expected, but I wish I was prepared for BM's reaction.
Good luck tomorrow and looking forward to an update!
