I'm 30 wks now and scheduled for a c-section at 38wks. Just wondering if I will actually make it that far or what the general average is to deliver twins. I'm thinking more like 36 weeks or so... Christmas time!
I made it to my scheduled c/s at 38 weeks 1 day.... They tried to get me to wait until 39 weeks when my regular OB would be on call at the hospital since they had a last minute schedule change, but I said heck no, get these babies outta me!!!
I was induced at 37w, 5d due to high bp and low fluid around baby b.

The average is 36w (though I've seen some that says 35w but I've seen 36-36.5 weeks a lot more often) with twins. I delivered 3 hrs shy of 38w but it was a scheduled induction. I definitely could have made it another 3 hours if the induction had started later.
Induced at 38 weeks...sent home for a failed induction to avoid a section. Water broke at 38 weeks 6 days and I ended up with a section, anyway. Brett was 6.6 and Emma was 7. I guess they needed the extra week
I was induced at 37w6d. New Year's Eve babies for me! : )
I didn't realize our 37w6d twins were almost exactly a year apart. (And if I'm remembering right, they had the same combined birth weight? Mine were 6.7 and 6.10.) Mine were born 1/6/09.

Yes! Our girls were 6.4 and 6.13. Crazy! : )
~Crystal~SAHM to Sam (5), Hugh (3), Mary & Grace (22 months) : )
Induced at 36w6d due to mild pre-e. Delivered via emergency section at 37w exactly. DD was 6.2 and DS was 5.4. Had I not developed the mild pre-e I could have easily gone another week or 2, I had no signs of labor whatsoever. GL!
At 36 weeks, my Dr scheduled me for a C-Section for 38 weeks. My water broke at 37-1/2 weeks. My baby A was 6.4 lbs and baby B was 5.5. Two very healthy babies. Yay for BR
I went into labor and had the girls c/s at 33w4d. That was way further than anyone thought I'd get, as I'd been on bedrest with funneling cervix for months.

I made it to 34w5d. Grace was 4lb13oz and Joy was 4lb9oz.
I'd been hospitalized for pre term labor since 26 wks for contrax, funneling, and shortening, so that played a huge part in my early delivery.
