When did you "give in" and let your LO tummy sleep? Did you let them tummy sleep this young in their crib, alone?
DS was a tummy sleeper, but I can't remember when we gave in. I know that by 3 months he was in his crib, tummy sleeping. He had terrible GERD and tummy sleeping provided him some additional relief.
DD has just been diagnosed with reflux and just started Prevacid. The only way she has been sleeping comfortably is on my husband while laying on her tummy. We had moved her into her room last week, but she's sleeping in the RnP for the incline, but she's still uncomfortable. Today we decided to let her nap on her tummy in her crib and she's been napping comfortably for 2.5 hours.
I don't know if it matters, but LO is little (she has
Re: Tummy Sleepers come in!
We gave in and let DS start sleeping on his stomach at 3 weeks. He had been sleeping on his belly in the NICU before that and he just wasn't having his back!
We have the Angelcare monitor. If we didn't have it I wouldn't feel comfortable with it. He naps in a playpen downstairs during the day and in his crib at night.

Remembering Baby Adam
I started letting LO try sleeping on his tummy probly around week 3. I started with naps and realized how much better he slept on his belly. Then started it for night time as well, and stayed that way. We have the angel care monitor as well for some extra peace of mind. Now that he's turning over more I think he's going to have to find a way to learn to sleep on his back or turn back over, but he just doesn't stay asleep on his back, he jerks alot which wakes him up and never liked swaddling.
He was born at 7.3 so not sure if size matters either.
