Did anyone have AF like cramps before BFP?

Did anyone have AF-type cramps before their BFP? If so, do you remember how many DPO you were? Were they mild or pretty painful?

I'm currently in the 2 WW, I think 7 or 8 DPO, but I'm not exactly sure when I Oed since I got two +OPKs four days apart and wasn't temping. AF isn't due for almost a week (I'm a pretty regular 28-30 cycle kinda gal), but this afternoon I had pretty bad cramps. They only lasted for less than an hour. It was out of the ordinary for me. Even when I do get AF, I haven't had pre-AF cramping, and maybe some mild cramps on the day AF gets here, but nothing major. And, AF is typically right on schedule, I can't remember a time when she was almost a week early.

So, I'm wondering with these AF-type cramps if I still have a shot for a BFP (planning on testing Monday) or if AF is likely to be coming early.

I've had AF cramps this ENTIRE time ... told that it could be normal (or could be the progesterone I'm on too...) but RE doc said it can be the uterus adjusting

I got AF like cramps the whole week before AF, in fact I thought it was AF coming. I also had them all throughout my last pregnancy and have had them a few times so far in this pregnancy.

I had cramps about 5 days prior to my missed period and they have continued into my pregnancy. I had all the usual symptoms I get before my period except for I had super sore boobs. Good luck! I hope you get your BFP soon!

My cramps started 15DPO. I do normally cramp a few days before my period starts, so I suspected nothing, but then my period never came, obviously.

The cramps aren't as severe as my AF cramps but still quite uncomfortable. They were also intermittent. I cramp for 2-15 minutes and then they go away. It's the same now as it was before my BFP, happening like that 2 or 3 times a day.

I got a whole week of cramps before my AF, I thought it was just an early AF, I also felt so fatigue and cant open my eyes in the morning but thats just how I'm before getting my AF. Then a week passed by still not getting AF yet, took test got BFP.

Yep, and I still have them. Just the uncomfortable twinges, not like full on cramps.

I did, and they started about about a week before I would've gotten AF (which is normal for me with a regular cycle). I guess they must've been implantation cramps!

I thought my period was coming about 8-9 dpo. I had cramps and that heavy period feeling I always get, I thought for sure it was coming but NOTHING. So don't count yourself out if you have period cramps.

I had moderate cramps the entire week I got my BFP. I thought (like pp's) that it was my AF gearing up, but it wasn't as excruciating as my AF cramps, just a mild-moderate cramping. Now I think it was implanting, bc I took a HPT on Sunday (9 dpo) and it was negative, and then another one 12 dpo and it was a BFP, and another 13 dpo and it was brighter. The cramps have subsided a little now.

I started having AF cramps with my first pregnancy the day before my expected period and they lasted for awhile.

With my first pregnancy, I had AF-like cramps that were stronger than usual. I remember sitting on the couch and complaining to my DH "I just want to get my period soon so that I can feel better!!"

Lo and behold, no period. Eventually, it dawned on me that I might actually be pg.

I had AF-like cramps probably about ~7 days or so after ovulation. I just assumed I was getting ready to start soon. But nope!! They were implantation cramps!

I got cramps on Halloween morning, about 9 or so DPO, and that was what tipped me off about being pregnant. I don't get cramps during AF, let alone 3 days before I'm supposed to start. So, it depends on your body. For all you know, it could be implantation cramps, which is what I think mine were. Good luck! Hope its your BFP!
