Okay...remember it is FFF...otherwise I would never admit this!
We feed DS at 6:30am, then put him in the swing every morning to watch cartoons for about 15 minutes and we finish getting ready for work. On Monday, I told DH that we needed to start using at least one shoulder strap because DS is starting to lean forward. After about 5 minutes of him being in the swing we hear DS whimpering a little (completely normal), then a little louder so DH went into the living room to check on him...he was completely bent over with his head hanging about 2 inches from the floor as the swing continued to swing. Apparently, DH didn't take my advise, but you better believe he has every day since!
Re: FFF Anyone?
When I looked up to see DD doing this in her bouncy seat (she was strapped in!) I realized it was time to start keeping a closer eye on her

Z almost rolled off the bed on DH the other day - I think it takes 1 close call to make a new parent realize that these babies are getting more mobile than we are used to!
Here is mine (XP from BOTB):
Yesterday I made brownies. I let Zach play with the empty chocolate chip bag while I cleaned up. Yup, I let an infant play with a plastic bag.
Mmmm...cake!
Holy cow!
The other morning LO woke up at 5 and I didnt want to get up yet, so I sat her in her crib with some stuffed animals and let her play for 30 minutes. There have also been times she wakes up super early and I put on cartoons, have her sit in bed between DH and myself so that we can sleep while she watches nick jr.
We've gotten into a Disney Junior or Sesame street routine every morning. I put her in her bouncer next to me with cartoons going while I pump. At first I was mortified that I was creating a tv baby, but it really is helpful when she's hungry and needs distracting for 20min and I'm by myself with no hands. I used to be able to pump before she woke up, but we hit a new schedule and THEN hit DST. She's been up at 6:30 all week instead of 8.
