  I quit taking them and never got my first period.  I guess it took right off the bat.  We had been told it would take close to 6 months for things to get "regulated."  HA!

  Wow, that's awesome! So far, I have been only on the Babies on the Brain board and I haven't met anyone else who got a BFP right away! Congratulations!

  Holy crap - you never had one period?!?! If you don't mind my asking, how long had you taken bcp before you went off? I wonder if that makes a difference in how fast you "adjust" when going off...

  I had 2 periods after I stopped taking my pills, but we were using alternate methods of BC.  The 3rd cycle we abandoned birth control of any means and got pg.

  Nope, I never got my first period after going off the pill and ended up with a BFP about 5 days after my AF was due. I had been on & off the pill for the last 10 years, on steadily for about 1.5 years.

  I got one period after the pill....I had stopped it midcycle though, so was only actually off for about a month.  I had been on about 4 years.

   

  I had heard that you can be most fertile after going off the pill.

  I was only off BCP for 3 weeks and I got a BFP 2 weeks later.  It was quick but we are happy we didn't have any problems!!

  Since I was 12.  I was 28 when I got the BFP so, 16 years.

  Same here. Started trying 6 weeks ago...Now I'm 6 weeks pregnant.

  Went off mid-May, preparing for the supposed 9-12 months of being off before pregnancy. We weren't trying but were using a (apparently ineffective) version of the rhythm method. Got my period in mid-June, and conceived around July 19!

  I had been taking my bc for 8 yrs.  Stopped taking it in at the beginning of Sept and got my BFP in Oct.  I didn't think I would get pregnant that quickly though because after I stopped by pills I was having short 20 day cycles. 

  From miscarriages, a diagnosis of a bicornuate uterus, and fibroid removal surgery...It's been quite the journey but it was all well worth it.

  I'm with ya on this, ?I was on the pill for eleven years! And I thought for sure it would take my body some time to have regular periods on its own with no help from BC, but oh No! ?It only took one month and voila! Positive test. ?Couldn't believe it, I wasn't expecting it all, but we are thrilled!!

  It took me 18 months to get pregnant after been on BC. Congrats on making that happen so quickly!
