I need highchair recommendations please

I would really like to have a high chair that is separate from the dining table, not like the ones that go on a chair. I heard to get one with wheels but it's not a must for me or at least I don't think it is at this point. I'd also like it to be reasonable in price.

TIA

  • We have the Fisher Price Rainforest one and have no complaints.  I'm not sure what price range you are looking for, but I think it was around $100.

  • We have the Stokke Tripp Trapp, which is it's own chair but sits at the table. We really like it. And it's weighted so an adult can use it - it will be his desk chair when he's big enough to sit at a dining chair.

  • We had the Graco Contempo high chair, I loved it because it folded up nice and slim

I would be willing to sell you ours if you are interested.

I really liked our high chair (Boon Flair Pedestal Highchair https://www.amazon.com/Boon-Flair-Pedestal-Highchair-Tangerine/dp/B004SS7FQ2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1320902361&sr=8-2)

but wish we'd gotten the Stokke for long term use.

  • We have the Chicco Polly.  I got it in green on my registry, not knowing the type of fabric and it was fabric, not wipeable.  So, I ended up buying a new insert, which was wipeable (they do replacments for only $25 I believe).  I really have liked it.  It does have grooves in the base of the tray (you put snapable ones on top) and that I need a toothpick to get junk out of which isn't always fun.  But overall, have been very happy with it.
  • We have this one. I love it because it's not too baby-ish and matches our decor more than a lot of chairs out there. It does not have wheels so we put some of those furniture moving pads under the legs to make it easier to pull up to the table. https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3800146

I have this one too, but all my fabric is wipeable. Food gets stuck in all the grooves of this thing; otherwise, I really like it.
