First/ middle name issues

So... DH & I both looove the name Zachary, but I put it on the back burner because I figured if we have a second son we could use the name (all because of the middle name). We can't agree on any other name yet and Zachary was brought up again so here is the issue. DH is insistant upon using his middle name as the baby's middle name (which is also the same as his dad's). Well, the middle name is Anthony.

I don't know if I can name my son Zachary Anthony. I've talked to some people and they don't think it's bad. Please help! Is Zachary Anthony as bad as I think it is?

I wouldnt be able to either. But on the flip side its not horrible either.

It's not terrible and you may never have another son. I say use it now.

I don't think it is that bad. I would say use it, because like a PP said, you never know if you'll get another chance to use it.

We probably would call him Zach, but would want to name him Zachary... I actually tried to get DH to change the middle name, but I don't think that's happening, lol

I think you should use Zachary.

While I agree with you that Zachary Anthony does not sound great, it's also not horrifying. And if you don't use Zachary, you may resent your husband not only for forcing this middle name on you but also for preventing you from using the name you love, especially if another opportunity never arises.
