If your feet were REALLY swollen when you were PG...

Now that you're not PG anymore, how do your feet look?  Mine were SO swollen toward the end of my pregnancy.  I thought they were going to explode by the time I got home from work.  Now that they aren't swollen anymore, they look weird.  The skin and my toenails look odd.  Anyone else's feet go back to normal... but not really??

  • They look fine but the are a size and a half bigger!

  • I can't figure out what size shoe I wear anymore. I'm probably a size bigger than I used to be, depending on the shoe. And I felt like my skin was "crepe papery" for a long time, if that makes sense. They look more normal now.

  • Mine looked normal after a couple of weeks, but like others, a lot of my old shoes don't fit :(

  • My feet and legs were insanely swollen.  In fact, they hurt so much, that was the main reason I wanted to deliver, bc of the pain and swelling.  Right after giving birth, the swelling came down, like 2wks later, but then they were all wrinkly, like if I were 80 yrs old!  I thought I needed plastic surgery on my legs and feet.  LOL  After a few months, they eventually went back to normal.

  • uh oh, that's not good. It never occured to me that my feet might not go back to normal?!? My feet are always so swollen at the end of a work day- it's ridiculous.

  • Mine are completely back to normal. I was concerned cause we have family history of getting larger feet after pregnancy but I fit in all my shoes.

  • OMGOSH! Idea I never thought it could be related to having twins! Everyone keeps saying to "loose weight" and your feet will go back to your "normal" size..I just laugh cause I'm not too much bigger then before I got prengant with my twins. Ugh I wish I could go back a size and half...I was already in a 11-12 before..now there's no way I can get into an 11 even if I really tried Sad

  • Here's how swollen my feet were. This was a few weeks before I delivered and they got worse. It took months but my feet are back to their regular bony selves. I was a size 9 before and I'm still a size 9.

  • I have loose skin (twin skin toes).  You can only see if you are looking for it, though.
