Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Can you recommend a co sleeper with an incline?

DD is 8 days old and does now want to sleep in the basinette. We have found that she sleeps great in our bed. I was worried about us rolling over on her so I put her in the boppy. She slept great! Then I saw on the tag that the boppy should never be used for sleeping. what can I use to have her in the bed with us, with an incline that will be safe? Thanks!

  • if your bed is big enough you could put a nap nanny in the middle of it.

Get a rock n play.  It has a good incline and its cozy so most babies love it.

THIS!!  DS would not sleep at night unless he was in our arms.  DH and I were taking turns holding him and sleeping (we did not want to get into the habit of having him in our bed...not judging any one, we just heard horror stories of how its a hard habit to break)  I decided to go out and get the Rock N Play and he sleeps like a champ in it!  At 6.5 weeks he was sleeping 5+ hours at night and I am BF.  Good Luck!

  • We did the boppy and yes it says not for sleeping but i told my dr that I put lo in boppy to sleep in his bassinet and he said that was fine. we been cosleeping with mr boppy till we got the diagnosis of reflux but the boppy wore out his welcome last night and we got the rock n play and so far he has been doing 3 hour stretches :D
