Who has a toddler sleep/wake nightlight/alarm clock?

Seems to be a few different kinds out there.  My friend has this one https://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=536615 and seems really happy with it, but I am open to suggestions.  Do you have one that you really like or really hate?

Please help, I am exhausted...DS keeps waking up at 5:30am!!

We've had this one for a few weeks and I absolutely love it! There are several different settings so the clock can grow with her. For now, the light turns green when she is allowed to leave her room (6:30 a.m.). The light really isn't bright at all and it turns on silently, so it doesn't wake her up should she sleep later than usual.

We got this one because I like that it can eventually turn into a real alarm clock. It also has the option of an analog display, which is important to me.

I can't believe I waited so long to buy this clock! It has been a complete lifesaver in the past few weeks.

How long does it stay green?

  • You can customize everything. I have it set to stay green from 6:30 to 8 a.m., since my child never sleeps past that. It also has a yellow light if you want to use that for something - like naps, or "okay to play in your bed" or whatever.

The only downside is that in a bright room, they wouldn't be able to see the light change.

We have the same one and have had it for about 6 months now.

    LOVE it.

With 2 kids we keep it in the bathroom so when they get up to go potty first thing in the AM they can see if it's time to leave their rooms yet or not.  We had to go this route because our youngest took it too literal that he wasn't supposed to leave his room and started having bed wetting incidents because he thought he couldn't leave to go potty.

The 5 yr old is already using the button on the foot to hear the time announced and then find the hands on the clock (learning to tell time).

    Highly recommend it!

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
  • We have the same one ^^ One for each girl, actually. Love it! DD2 obviously doesn't get it just yet, but DD1 has been using it for a year now and it's working out pretty well. She even started including it in her bedtime prayer... LOL. "....wake me with the morning light, when my clock is green". Haha :) It works pretty great as a night light too.

  • We have the awesome bunny clock!

image The sleeping bunny lights up for sleep time and the awake bunny is on the rest of the time. You set the time you want them to sleep and wake up. You can turn on the alarm if you wish, but we just leave it silent. (linky) We also have the travel clock for uhm, travel ;)
