Has anyone decided where to have it? I'm still trying to figure this part out. Our new place is way too small. And even though I live in SoCal, it might be too cold to have it outside. Ideas? I am also on a budget. ( DH is cheap and I'm not working)
We're not 100% decided yet but it's between renting the clubhouse at our apartment or at the childrens museum. The clubhouse is free for residents so having it there would make it cheaper for us but I'm not sure it will be big enough.

Our community center is also very nice, and it is 100 dollars for 3 hours. Not cheap, but not exactly like renting a banquet hall either. I dunno. My house is tiny, and Id rather not have it at my parents. My list is growing, and at about 50. I have no idea what the heck I want to do. I imagine the following birthdays will be family only, so this one I kind of wanted to have a blow out. Even if she wont remember it.
We rented out a banquet room, and it was expensive but reasonable for NYC. We secured our date back in June.... no joke. I don't want to have it at our place and I don't want to have it out of the city at my parents either (their house is small too).
It will be at our house. I'm thinking with family and in town friends there will be about 20 adults and 10 kids under age 5. I'm not working on anything until after the holidays.
