A couple of my good friends have decided ahead of time(before they are even pregnant with their second) that a c-section is easier and all their kids are gonna be born this way. There is not much I can say to that but I'm annoyed that individuals think that the C-section is the main option.
Re: Second babies
Did they have c/s with their first babies?
I don't really understand why you would come to the c-section board to vent about people who want c-sections. If they think c-sections are "easier", that's their choice (albeit misinformed) to make. I don't get how someone else's birth plan affects you. I couldn't care less about who of my friends wants a natural birth, an epi, a c-section. Not your business.
first I love your siggy pic. 2nd I'm surprised there hasn't been a "Gawd, you people are so mean" response yet.
I'm just curious as to whether these friends had c-sections previously or not. THe office I go to doesn't offer vbacs, but even if they did, I'm in no way interested even if I were a good candidate for one. Why? Because the 32 excruciating hours I was in labor before they called for a c-section were terrible, and a c-section was a much, much better experience than those hours.
SO this! Plus 4 hours!
Thanks!
