Yes he is and as of now he will be on the sideline Saturday. I am not a PSUer, but am in PA and it is all over talk radio and our news.

THAT IS INSANE!! ALL of them should be fired. Period. A complete overhall of the football dept. So sad to ruin what Penn State has of a football team but frankly it wouldn't matter if it were LSU or Alabama, there is no excuse.

Oh and FYI - the title of your post could be confusing. The nickname for Penn State is PSU. Penn refers to the University of Pennsylvania, the Ivy League school in Philly

The only reason I mention it is because a good friend attended Penn and she was just railing about how people confuse the two all.the.time. She had a shirt in college that said "NOT PENN STATE".

Also just this week a NYT article about the scandal constantly referred to Penn State as Penn and Penn students and alum were pissed

laney, yes - U of Penn. Ben Franklin and Penn are Philly, PSU is in Happy Valley, aka the sticks.

My niece just graduated from there and was a lacrosse player. I went to a bunch of her games and the campus is just beautiful.

I was just reading an article on Sports Illustrated that hypothesizes that he is still employed for two potential reasons...1) they are worried that if they fire him he will go public with a lot more incriminating information or (more likely ) 2) he is protected under pennsylvania's whistleblower act, since he did report to his superiors.

Whatever the reason, it is sick.

Oh I have no doubt he knows a lot more than has come out and I believe he also has a deal with penn state that he keeps a job if he keeps his mouth shut. On a side note Devon will you find out what you are having and when?

In the thread defending Paterno, I posted pretty much that. The reason McQueary hasn't been fired is because once he does, he talks - who knew what and when. I think we are at the tip of the iceberg in this coverup

I had the anatomy scan at 17 weeks and little guy was NOT shy!

yes- I went to UPenn- and people/ usually out of staters confuse it for Penn State.
