Do any of you have recommendations for preschool/daycare options for 2 mornings a week for a 12 month old? I live in Roswell, but work in Midtown...so either would be fine!
I'd check with churches. Most Mothers Morning Outs and preschool programs are two and three day usually from 9-12 or 1 or 2. I work at Oglethorpe Presbyterian in Brookhaven and we have two and three day programs but I think they are full right now, but you could always look into it. Our Lady of Assumption and St. Jude's Catholic church both have preschools.
They are all over.. do some googling, and definitely check out the churches in the areas you are interested in. Although, when I did my looking, a lot of them don't start until the kids are 16-18 months old. We were able to start my DD at 15 months. It was a little bit trying in the beginning because her nap was still around 11am ish.. but it has finally pushed back until a little later. I am guessing you are not interested in the Buckhead area, but if you are... let me know.. I can let you know the ones we looked at.
First Baptist Church of Roswell has an excellent and affordable MMO program (2 and 4 day a wk options are available). DD started going there at 4 months old (she is now 19mts) and I have been extremely pleased. The infant room teachers Ms. Lillian and Ms. Maryann are AWESOME (both r grandmothers who are caring and attentive to each individual child). If you have any questions please feel free to email me at Lpbet@hotmail. If you happen to call let the director (who is also a MMO teacher, Darlene Cain, know Leslee referred you). https://www.rfbc.org/rfbcsite/mmo GL
P.S. (this was the only MMO in North Fulton that accepted infants when I was looking and I searched from Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Roswell to Dunwoody).
