Anyone watching Top Chef this season?

I really like it so far and wanted to see what others think.

I HATE that it's on at 10pm. Isn't it like a huge show for Bravo with spinoffs and emmys etc... why pick such a late time slot? I know I should DVR but once something is in DVR God knows when I'll get to it...

    I'm mad b/c I forgot to set my DVR up to record this.  We have watched Top Chef in the past and have enjoyed it.

    Errrr...I forgot to set the DVR too.  Good news is that I'll get both episodes recorded today/tonight but out of order. 

    MrsWhite-I'm the exact opposite about DVR, I feel like I never remember to watch it unless it's on DVR.

    yeah, I DVR'd the first 2 episodes and still haven't watched the first one yet! I was hoping to catch up this morning... but the boys were up early too.

    I haven't missed a season yet and love the show so it's totally ironic I cannot cook to save my life. 

    Anyway, it's an interesting twist on how they picked contestants this year and I like it.  It was weird, I thought, that they stretched it out over 2 episodes and I'm curious to know how much time really elapsed from when they picked the first contestant to the last.

    Watched the episodes last night (although I feel asleep during part of the first episode).  I do like the way they started the season.  It was nice to have a change and see the contestants 'earn' their spot on the show.

    My DD goes to bed at 10, and so it's just right for me.. I'm ready to relax, watch a little TV before I crash in bed.  All the 'good stuff' I watch on Bravo or E! is on at 10, I actually like that time spot because I can decompress.

    I'm watching too!  I love Top Chef!  I really like how they selected the participants this season- I think we got to see a bit of what goes into the decision and we get to "meet" the chefs and get to know them a little before the actual competition starts.

    We watch, too! We saw last week's episode but haven't watched last nght's yet. I like the twist at the beginning this year. I already have a couple favorites but I'm sure that will change!
