  You poor thing!  I don't really know but what about hot water with honey and lemon?  Is honey safe during pg?  Whatever you take, I really hope you get better for once and for all.  Soon!

  Boil grated ginger, honey, lemon, and water. Then strain the grated ginger out. Drink. It's a great remedy!

  Thanks! I've been drinking hot tea with honey, but it doesn't help my voice come back. I have a voice, it is just severely strained. It's the pits! I will try the ginger and lemon with the hot water!

  Happy to act as the board's resident speech therapist...

   Stay hydrated, humidifier if you have one, lozenges (not cough drops), decaf tea w/ honey, and voice rest (whispering does more damage).  Oh, and it's usually just a matter of time...  good luck!
